Nature'S Edge Boutique Hotel - Uvita

New Year's at this hotel was absolutely incredible! the location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding tropical valley and sea. the room design was perfect for relaxation, from the comfy bed to the jungle shower. Plus, the balcony with a hammock and rocking chairs was the cherry on top. the pool area was exquisite, and the saltwater pool was a refreshing treat. We also loved the shared kitchen dining area, which had everything we needed for self-catering.

One thing we didn't enjoy was the steep climb to the hotel. It would have been helpful if they had warned us about the need for a 4x4 vehicle.

We recently stayed at a boutique hotel in Uvita called Nature's Edge and it was an incredible experience. the casita we stayed in, Aracari, had breathtaking views of the rainforest and mountains. We saw toucans, aracaris, and monkeys right from our casita. the hosts, Joe and Keith, were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, providing us with great tips on what to see and where to eat. the breakfasts prepared by the pool were fantastic. it was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed and we highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing for me! 😊.

The views from our cabin were breathtaking, with stunning landscapes and ocean views. We felt like we were part of nature, surrounded by the sounds of monkeys and birds. the open concept cabin was cozy and the bed was heavenly comfortable. the shared kitchen provided a peaceful setting to prepare local dishes.

We had some difficulties keeping the hot water running during our shower, which was a bit frustrating. we weren't given a remote for the front gate, so we had to remember to ask for it if we went out late afternoon, otherwise we would find the gate closed on our way back.
